Saya Lacquering:

In general, lacquering for me is both labor
intensive and seasonal. Because of our local climate (Northern Minnesota) and my primary
profession (Education), I am forced to
limit saya work to only the months of
May thru August.

My base lacquer fees are:

KATANA........$300.00
WAKIZASHI...$250.00
TANTO............$200.00

(Turnaround time is 6-8 weeks
per saya; return postage & insurance
included in the above fees)

Newly Carved Saya:

Handmade and fitted to your blade.

Although, in special situations, I do cut new saya, I usually refer individuals to Mike Virgadamo, who, in my opinion, is a saya icon in the sword community.

My newly carved saya fees are:

   KATANA........$250.00
   WAKIZASHI...$200.00
   TANTO............$150.00

(Newly carved saya will add an
additional 2-3 weeks per project)
